Your memories in one place
What our users think
"The app gives you the opportunity to capture the best moments in your life virtually and display them on a world map. Easy to use and versatile, I'm thrilled!"
"The ability to assign the pictures to the location and share them with friends is great! The app is very easy to use. Which is another big plus!"
"Browsing through the memories is simply fun. It's also really nice to be able to see the locations of the snapshots taken on the integrated map. This means you no longer have to puzzle over where one or two photos/videos were taken."
"It is very easy to save your experiences and photos based on location and time. You can share memories with your friends without violating their privacy. I would also like friends to be able to post photos in shared memories. Then it would be perfect! I'm excited! Update: it's great that photos can now also be added in their original aspect ratio!"
"Really good idea. Years ago I wanted to make a memory album with a map showing all the locations of the photos, but I gave up at some point. And now I've discovered venovani and the app can do just that! You can create private or public memories and share them with others via a link. The others don't necessarily have to be venovani users to view the photos. And €1.99 for a year is really not that much. All in all, really cool!"
That's why your new web-based app
With venovani you always have all your memories with you
Life’s important moments disappear into a digital haystack, scattered across smartphones, tablets, laptops, hard drives and cloud storage. Keep your memories in exactly ONE place:
venovani.
No download or installation required. Works in any browser on all devices.
Create a memory, select and organize photos and videos, and you’re done. You can invite your friends and family to join your memory using a link or QR code, and they can add photos or videos to it. Even guests can add photos without an account.
And if you want to hold your memories in your hands at the end, print them out as a photo book.
Find Instead of Search: A site organized chronologically, with a map and a search function for all written terms.
Everyone is there: my daughter Ina with her iPhone, Uncle Werner with his Android tablet, and even the neighbor who doesn’t have a bank account, just as a visitor.
In original quality: Not what WhatsApp and the like leave of it.
And by the way: It’s stored on one server instead of twelve.
What this means:
- Germany: Anyone who relies on iCloud Photo Library or “Shared Albums” is excluding about 7 out of 10 people. Apple’s ecosystem is a niche solution in Germany.
- Switzerland: It’s the other way around. iOS is the majority here—but even here, 4 out of 10 family members are left out.
- Austria: An extreme case. Almost 50-50. Every family gathering is guaranteed to be mixed.
- So, in all three countries, the following applies: At a funeral with 30 mourners or a wedding with 80 guests, the probability that everyone is using the same operating system is practically zero.
What this means:
- Only about half of smartphone users in Germany back up their data at all (51%, Bitkom 2023). Of these, 70% use free cloud services, 13% use paid services, and 33% use external devices such as laptops or hard drives.
- The percentage of people who never back up their data is growing: from 10.6% (2019) to 15.7% (2023), according to an eco survey. Another 21% back up their data less than once a year.
- Older but indicative figures: 53% of people who back up their data use an external hard drive, only 15% use the cloud, and 48% back up photos and videos at all (Reichelt/TNS Emnid 2016).
- Cloud usage in Germany is below the European average —about one-third of people store personal data in the cloud.
About one in two people in German-speaking countries keep their photos only on their cell phones. One loss, one instance of water damage, one theft— and everything is gone. This isn’t just a minor risk; it’s the norm.

Your life - your memories
How the app works
Create reminder with title, description and property "private" or "public".
You can adjust this later, as well as many other settings.
Select photos or videos and - if desired - add a title and description and finally confirm with the "Create" button.
You can change the title, description, location and date later.
"Public" means that every venovani user can find your photos on the world map. "Private" means that only you and the members of your memory can see the photos. And with the PIN, a private memory cannot be accessed via the link alone.
Simply use the link symbol to invite your friends via messenger services. Or use the QR code to make the link available (digital or printed). Anyone who receives the link or QR code can potentially join the reminder.
